A Deer's Tail

After much deliberation and fickleness over my first third year project, i was struck with a brain wave and wrote a tragic story which i intend to heavily storyboard and animate part of with the narration of a deep Texan mans voice.

Child Poverty

I was commisioned along with two fellow animators to make an animation about child poverty for the BBC in June.
We were given a poignant soundtrack of three children talking about their home and not being able to afford things. They wanted it to be a real 'character piece' so to get around the 'character' problem of it possibly looking to cartoony, i rotoscoped the children.
It was aired on BBC North West Tonight last night and is now permanantly on the website!

My final animation is almost complete....but whilst we wait, i shall post some others for your viewing pleasure....The first is a piece of Experimental aniamtion i did at the very start of the second year and the second is my final first year product!
